There was a time when I would try to be everything those around me wanted me to be. I used to be pulled in so many directions. It got to a point where I wasn't sure who I was anymore. I lost myself, in a sense.
Then recently, I rediscovered myself and who I was but I still wasn't sure if it would ever be enough for anyone. Then someone very special said they love me just as I am, and now I'm not afraid to be myself anymore. I'm not perfect. I am, however, a perfectionist. I always strive to be more than I am, but sometimes you need to stop striving and just exist, as you are, without all the frills and fuss. Just strip everything away and say "Here I am. This is me". I'm not perfect. I make mistakes. I screw up sometimes. I can be one wacky Annimouse. I am crazy. I cannot be defined as normal, but you know what? I'm comfortable with that, and being normal is so overrated anyway.  This image is a bit noisier than I would like and the colours seem weird to me. Might just be my monitor though but I'll have a mess around later to see if I can better it.  xx Comments
