There was a time when I would try to be everything those around me wanted me to be. I used to be pulled in so many directions. It got to a point where I wasn't sure who I was anymore. I lost myself, in a sense.
Then recently, I rediscovered myself and who I was but I still wasn't sure if it would ever be enough for anyone. Then someone very special said they love me just as I am, and now I'm not afraid to be myself anymore. I'm not perfect. I am, however, a perfectionist. I always strive to be more than I am, but sometimes you need to stop striving and just exist, as you are, without all the frills and fuss. Just strip everything away and say "Here I am. This is me". I'm not perfect. I make mistakes. I screw up sometimes. I can be one wacky Annimouse. I am crazy. I cannot be defined as normal, but you know what? I'm comfortable with that, and being normal is so overrated anyway.
This image is a bit noisier than I would like and the colours seem weird to me. Might just be my monitor though but I'll have a mess around later to see if I can better it.

Thank you, hun. Thank you for giving me the courage to be myself.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
